Intuitive, genuine photography that’s stylish, elegant and individual to each client.
Hello! My name is Karina and I run wedding and portrait photographers’ Richmond Pictures. I’m based in Sheffield and work across the UK, specialising in creative photography with a gentle and natural photography style.
Getting to know you ahead of your wedding is essential and central to my approach. I love to hear your ideas and share inspiration, as well as find out about you as people, which helps me gain a true understanding of your likes and what’s important to reflect in your wedding photographs. This combined with being naturally upbeat, chatty and cheerful results in natural, intuitive, genuine photography that’s stylish, elegant and individual to each client.
As a wedding photographer, what matters most to me is that whilst producing the best work I can, I provide the highest quality personal service. That’s why I take on only a select number of bookings per year.
Richmond Pictures specialise in wedding photography, but also take on commissions for portraiture and lifestyle photography.
I undertake fashion, advertising and commercial portrait commissions through Karina Lax Photography. There is a small selection of this in the Commercial section of this site, or take a look here:
I recently relocated to my hometown of Sheffield after 5 years in London, Zermatt in Switzerland, and 10 years in Manchester. I live with my husband Tom and fantastic little boy Otto, and we have a crazy beagle named Walter. The Peak District is on our doorstep, and I work from a lovely studio in Kelham Island, creating a great contrast of urban and rural Sheffield. My work takes me to London and beyond, so it’s often possible to meet up with clients in person around the country, which I love to do.
So that’s me, now I’d like to hear from you! If you’d like to enquire please click here. There’s also more work to look at on the blog.
Thanks for reading and I’ll look forward to chatting soon
